While going thru a trading card binder tonight, I found three Stuart Freeborn images that I'd stashed away and forgotten about. Because there was a bunch of interest when we announced our Connoisseur Series addition of Stuart, I figured I'd put these up and let 'em find a home in someone's collection, as I already have a set.

| I'm going to be visiting Skywalker Ranch on April 1. I anticipate a stop at the Ranch's store where I can pick up logo'd merchandise. I figured that I'd also use the opportunity to take care of other people on the trip.

| Wattographs "marches" through 2010 with private autograph signings with original and prequel trilogy celebs Dermot Crowley, Tim Rose and Danny Wagner!
Dermot Crowley played General Madine in Return of the Jedi. While he is best known to Star Wars fans as the Rebellion's brilliant assault strategist, Crowley's acting career extends to British television and into feature films such as Babel, and the 007 film Octopussy.
Tim Rose played rebel leader Admiral Ackbar in Return of the Jedi. In the same film, he also was puppeteer for the Max Rebo Band's lead singer, Sy Snootles and Jabba's court jester Salacious Crumb. Rose's other film credits include The Dark Crystal, Return to Oz, Howard the Duck, Fierce Creatures, and as various characters in The Great Muppet Caper and The Muppet Christmas Carol.
Danny Wagner is senior model maker, makeup artist and concept/FX sculptor for Industrial Light & Magic. He stepped in to play podracer Mawhonic in The Phantom Menace and as puppeteer for Jabba's Band in the Return of the Jedi: Special Edition. Wagner also sculpted the model worlds for Naboo, Utapau, Kashyyyk, and Mustafar. Among his other credits include Terminator 3, Galaxy Quest, Men In Black, & The Mummy.
We're also taking send-in items for John Coppinger (Jabba sculptor & Wookiee Senator Yuara) & Mike Edmonds (Logray & Jabba's tail) this month for when they sign their parts of the Jabba CS.

 Make-up and Special Effects artist extraordinaire Stuart Freeborn(and wife and fellow Make-up artist Kay Freeborn) sat down with "The Pyeman" on February 27th to sign autographs for Wattographs. Stuart signed all of the Jabba the Hutt Connoisseur Series™ pieces and a couple of extra pieces and Kay signed a few pieces for Wattographs.
Both Stuart and Kay are in their mid-90's and it was very gracious of them to take several hours out of their weekend to allow Wattographs a rare autograph signing. |
